The Michigan Photography Club operates on principles of mutual respect , creativity, and the collective growth of its members. To maintain a positive and welcoming community, we ask all members to follow a few simple guidelines. Firstly, we encourage members to share their original photography , respecting the work of others by not posting images that violate copyright or that they do not own. Constructive feedback is highly valued, and we expect everyone to engage in discussions in a supportive manner, helping each other improve and learn through thoughtful and respectful critiques. This ensures that the club remains a safe space for photographers of all skill levels to showcase their creativity and express their unique perspectives through their work.

  • Original Content: Share your own photography. DO NOT upload images that are not your own without the owner's consent.

  • Respectful Feedback: Offer constructive, respectful feedback to other photographers.

  • Supportive Community: Engage with other photographers with kindness. WE DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING, HARRASMENT, OR OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE

These rules are vital to maintain a supportive environment for all club members. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in a written warning or temporary suspension from The Michigan Photography Club. Accepted File Formats

When it comes to image submissions, it’s essential that members adhere to our file format guidelines. We only accept PNG and JPEG file formats for all photos uploaded to the site. T hese formats are chosen for their excellent image quality and compatibility with most devices and web browsers, ensuring that your photographs look their best when viewed by other members. Using these standard formats also helps maintain consistency and accessibility across the club’s digital gallery.
